I finally took the time to replace the old Cocos2d-x engine I've been using since 2018 for its current incarnation, the Axmol Engine.

The process wasn't smooth, but was more than worth it: performance got a huge boost.

Era sonho de vida, hoje é puro masoquismo mesmo.

I barely touched it, played once IIRC. It always looked a rushed cash-grab to me, and the water level is infamously broken.

The second game however was an impressive arcade port, and still hard but actually beatable.
