Astronomy on Tap is a monthly event that brings cutting-edge astronomical research to the public in a relaxed, entertaining setting. The Canary Islands edition highlights research carried out at the IAC and is funded by the EDUCADO & ExGal-Twin projects.
ExGal-Twin is proud to support the first @aot-canarias.bsky.social event in the Canary Islands, taking place tomorrow, October 2nd, in Tenerife. These fun, informal science talks in bars aim to make astronomy accessible to everyone. Two IAC astronomers will speak in both Spanish and English.

Astronomy on Tap arrives in Spain: first edition in the Canary Islands. We are pleased to announce the arrival of Astronomy on Tap in Spain. This international dissemination initiative, born in the US and spread all over the world, now lands in the Canary Islands under the name of AstroTragos.
