This is sad news. No information has been released. It's a bit late notice really and some explanation would be nice. I just got an email telling me I had been refunded. Even more sad news is that I'd already bought my train ticket and that's not going to get refunded, is it? Well done, everyone! 🙄

So I've got Layton Williams as my King Herod!
Very happy about that!

Oh wow! Thanks so much for reading it, Alun. I really loved The Unlikely Pilgrimage Of Harold Fry. It's very much my kind of thing. And it's always a treat to discover how lovely all of the cast are too.

With an incomparable turn of phrase and exquisite use of seldom-heard vocabulary, Alun yet again paints such a glorious picture of what he has experienced through composing perfect paragraphs of beautifully-constructed sentences. As always, very much worth a read. Seeing this show myself tomorrow!

Have arrived in Stratford ahead of a trip to see The Boy Who Harnessed The Wind at the wonderful Swan Theatre tomorrow (Tuesday) evening. It's here from 10th February to 28th March first before transferring to the West End. Really excited for this one. There's already a good buzz about it.

Top Twenty Favourite 'W' Songs From Musicals
Part 1: 'W' Songs That Are Questions
It was great last year in that dingy venue!
It will be amazing to see it at the much lovelier Gilded Balloon at the Museum.
Go well, guys! See you in August!
Third show added to my Edinburgh Fringe 2026 favourites.
I enjoyed this so much last year. It was my final show on my final day and really rounded off the whole experience brilliantly.
Second show added to my Edinburgh Fringe 2026 favourites.
I'm thrilled that this wonderful show is returning. I saw it last year and it's brilliant! It must have been to have featured in my awards lists for Best Play and Best Performance In A Play (Connor Delves) in 2025.

I'm especially eagerly awaiting your review of this one, Alun.
Ive booked to see The Unlikely Pilgrimage Of Harold Fry three times during its short run because I already know I'm going to love it and will very likely miss it when it's gone.
SPOILER ALERT
My colleague's grievances:
1) Joe McFadden's Andy being portrayed as meek and sheepish. There is definitely a bit of a Forrest Gump vibe there.
2) Brooks Hatlen's cause of death being completely changed.
3) Other plot changes from the film.
4) An underwhelming hole in the wall reveal.
Yes, let the planning for August 2026 commence.
Too exciting, as always!
First batch of shows announced on Wednesday 11th February.
