I think they lived their life with just as much insecurity and self doubt as the rest of us, until by chance they got snagged up by an even more enticing idea - there are people in the world that are lesser than you, so no matter what you do, you will always be better because lesser people exist.

That is because you and I did not grow up with entitlement baked into our brains.

A whole generation of people who were given every advantage - and it taught them that they deserved it and should have more, and all the have-nots clearly didn't deserve it.
