To be fair, the classification of what our work is and how to separate that into a separate title is difficult. Same thing goes for AI. How do we term genAI against a workflow tool? How do we dictate a retakes artist into an animator category with other responsibilities? Each studio + medium>

There's lots of areas that are unaffected by a lot of the discourse, plus independent work is gaining popularity. Places still exist outside of it all, but yeah right now is pretty bleak. Especially for people trying to start out...
