Recently I have been fearful of the worst as my father’s health has flirted with needing dialysis. Even today, before the good news, he had been told they were out of options to put it off. That he needed to start and be fitted for a catheter.

I’m not ashamed to say that after Siri read the message to me as I was on my way to pick up my child from daycare I broke down and cried until I got there and recomposed myself.

Today I received one of the best bits of news I ever have in my life. My father has been informed that a kidney donor match has been found and he will receive a life saving transplant on December 16th.

The alleged killer of Charlie Kirk turned out to NOT be a person of color, trans, gay, an immigrant, ANTIFA, nor even a Democrat. 22 year old Tyler Robinson is a typical white, Christian (Mormon), cis male from a pro gun conservative family. His father is a retired cop.

If we’re going to talk about political violence right now, it also needs to include the violence Charlie Kirk engaged in on a nearly daily basis. Including fomenting January 6th.
