there’s a few additional things going on in the cave soundtrack that we couldn’t cover in the video, like there are ~30 extra variations of songs but with different mixing, instruments, and altered melodic lines.
i don’t see them rendering this soundtrack out, its too liquid and it’d take days

This cave unit in particular was designed by Atsushi Miyagi. He mentioned that because his work tends to bury his head in a PC all day long, he didn't like working on really dark areas. So he would go out of his way to have natural light break through the ceiling, like this one, and Hole of Beasts.

Nintendo has a habit of avoiding credit redundancy. You never see a person's name more than once as they scroll.

If your job is to animate the cutscenes, but, I dunno, you also create the design for the Waterwraith on the side. You just get credited for cutscenes :P

That one edit is where all of this comes from. The info found its way onto to Pikipedia in September of 2015 (an admin was just copying information from the Japanese Wikipedia article into Pikipedia's articles), then eventually it spread everywhere else

It’s really annoying how far unsourced information can spread. I’m pretty all of this stems from a user on JP Wikipedia who kept adding speculative info everywhere before they were reprimanded
