Every child deserves a teacher who knows them. At John Dewey HS, class sizes fell from 34 to 25. At P.S. 199, they dropped from 28 to 18. This is just the start!
Right now, Tier 6 members face heavy pension reductions if they retire at 55, regardless of how long they’ve served. That’s not right.

Now kids are "more excited about school," having "more face time with teachers and richer conversations."

Teachers, firefighters, nurses, and all other public servants who joined NYS’s retirement system after 2012 are all Tier 6.
