Dept. Heaven is a series that asks what happens after you attack and dethrone God. Turns out the heroes aren't any better at running things, and just leaving everything unattended is even worse.

The scattering of downballot races through the cycle makes this even worse. How many voters show up at town hall or wherever five or six Tuesdays in a row to vote on whichever single race is having its election that day? How many voters even know to?

It's a lot easier to influence policy and outcomes if you're the one actually effecting policy and outcomes. Just saying.

And doing this will have more of an impact than all the protest votes and third party presidential candidates in history - combined.
