3/ Democracy cannot survive if we excuse acts of sedition. No one—no matter how powerful—should be above the law. We must stand together to defend our democratic principles.

2/ By granting these pardons, Trump sends a clear message: loyalty to him excuses criminal behavior. This undermines justice, disrespects the sacrifices of those who defended the Capitol, and emboldens future violence.

1/ President Trump’s decision to pardon over 1,500 individuals involved in the January 6th insurrection is a dangerous assault on the rule of law.

Deeply disappointed in Hillary Cassel’s party switch in the Florida State House, following Susan Valdes in Hillsborough. Both signed loyalty oaths, gained support from Democratic donors & volunteers, and then abandoned their commitments.

The fight for personal freedoms and Democracy is a long protracted battle that will require dedicated warriors for the cause.
