Correct, not even from a Top 1000/100/10 title perspective, people wanna play regular ass ranked on the weekends when they are most free and literally can’t LMAO

The main rewards not tied to rankings can be obtained in 2-3hrs but the ranking ones basically require you to play 72 hours straight with no sleep.

No, festivals are for both the free and paid DLC characters and it is a bunch of cosmetics like decals themed around themed around them. The majority of them are easy to get and can be obtained in 2-3 hours. The ranked rewards though are totally fucked.

Even if people say “it’s not SEGA’s fault if people wanna grind for a cosmetic” they ignore that it DOESN’T HAVE TO BE LIKE THIS. SEGA is actively encouraging it with their current system regardless if they intend it or not.

To be fair, rewards that aren’t tied to the leaderboard rankings are very easy to earn and can be gotten in like 2-3hrs, but the ranked ones are diabolically evil

not to mention, much like Splatoon whenever a Splatfest is on, standard matchmaking is locked off for the duration of these events

it's manageable for Splatfest because they only go for a day, but CrossWorlds' festivals go for an entire weekend with no breaks

Nope, until they re-run the event (which we have no confirmation of), everything cannot be ever earned again.

No cheating as far as I can tell for Top 10 since every one was streaming, the problem is double point games are TOTALLY RANDOM and can massively swing points by huge amounts if you are lucky and get more than someone else.

CrossWorlds has events where you play a team game mode for points to earn cosmetics. The problem is there are titles for being in the Top 1000, 100, and 10 highest point earners by the end. The system for this is poorly thought out and encourages you to kill yourself on top of 2x point RNG factors.

The Joker Festival is probably next week too, people are genuinely gonna die this month. They have to fix this system ASAP.

The Miku Festival for Sonic CrossWorlds was really fun, but they REALLY have to make it 12 hours each day. I didn't like constantly worrying about my friend @ultimashadow.bsky.social's life. 🤣

But he did make 7th though, and I was part of that last race! He's getting the Top 10 banner!!
