We aren't looking to make plans for awhile as we would like to focus on archiving the machine and chasing leads. we also would like to modify our approach in the future as this was our first community outreach.

Thank you for coming out to see our machine. Reception of this endeavor was much better than expected. We do not know when we will exhibit again, but we are overjoyed by how receptive everyone was. Vastedge is home safe and sound !

The answer is honestly unclear if we did it wouldn't be easily playable vastedge is a very strange and unique machine with more internal boards than the average slot machine

The machine is now in warehouse and the cost of shipping is about 300 USD more than originally expected and with the tariffs effecting japan will likely end up with us in the negative, this eats up our cushion from the original budget.

The cabinet may cost more depending on the seller and how they handle the domestic shipping inside japan. The cost of 600 USD is more on the low end to have it purchased and shipped inside japan and can cost considerably more. Its domestic cost influences tariffs as well so its a 1k-2k USD purchase

The price of the cabinet itself was around 600 USD (including domestic shipping and proxy fees), we do not have a solid import cost yet as it has yet to appear in the proxy's warehouse. We have a 400 dollar shipping quote but it may cost more with fees (or tariffs)

We also have a member of our group with a surviving Vastedge I Phone and there is just unfortunately a stark difference in quality due to the limitations of these cellphones. We are trying to get more quality footage and transcriptions !

We now have the confirmation that our payment has went through with our Proxy and we now must wait for it to be sent to their warehouse! We now own a Vastedge Cabinet : )
