We expect a Lunar Eclipse in the morning and loads of planets in the sky.

We had a lunar eclipse on 2/17 and I took this photo from the hot tub, it’s full of planets.

This eclipse is 4th of a series of 6 and is supposed be about changing habits. Interesting!

except why is my mail so late?

Then I grabbed shoes and went to put Joanne’s mail in her kitchen and there was an envelope addressed to me and I’m invited to another wedding this summer so yesterday’s dress order seems smart now.

I went to the door to grab the mail and the kid from up the block was walking his dog along with the guy from up the block and his dog and despite not wearing shoes I ended up in the driveway in socks but in brilliant sun with two dogs vying for my attention and not a thing is wrong with any of this

I should be able to visit her out there once she’s settled.

Joanne update:

She’s being discharged from the hospital tomorrow and will go to rehab for 2-3 weeks.

They were able to find a bed at a great facility where, incidentally, the guy with dementia’s mother was having a martini at a fundraiser when she went into labor with him. This explains a lot.

I figure I’ll know if they are cool in 10-15 years, so far I’m just seeing cute.

68 shirts in 3 years. I’ll probably add 2 more this month.

Someday I hope to pass them off to my grandkids so they can explain that their grandmother was cooler than most.

But until then, I’ll wear them and keep them dear.

Currently working on getting my denial/reality balanced by reorganizing my extensive collection of band merch by date.

I am ridiculous, will report back with totals.

Already did the sweatshirts/hoodies, that was 15.

Tgwd is finally resting. I need to be in eyesight of his room and not sitting.

I feel like Godzilla (he’s down there too) is swinging me from the sky.

It’s his comfort zone, talking about this stuff. My head sees and hears it, but only on the surface.

I’m urging him to stick to one monster a day. Today was The Mummy, tomorrow might be Vincent Price who wasn’t a monster but needs his own list.

Because he won’t stop talking or rest, we just cataloged about 50 pieces of his monster memorabilia collection in the basement.

He has a notebook of original prices dating back to 2013 when we moved here. Now he wants me to have lists by monster.

lol, he’s had 22 prescriptions filled in 61 days and reached Catastrophic Coverage so all but one RX will be copay free for the rest of the year.

That one is considered durable medical equipment and will be $10 a month.

Today we are doing the non stop talking part of dementia.

Hold me now.

I don’t think I can do this today.

I always buy seats if I can. I was glad to test my knees by standing the other night though.

They are just making up numbers.

Then he was replaced by a younger guy who did the block, dance, spill thing in front of us and then started trying to move us to a “better” spot without realizing we aren’t 6’ tall.

Dudes need to show up early and get their own spots.

The other night, there was a guy about my age with his wife and grown kids who was so uncomfortable being in the space that he kept trying to move into ours. He eventually went to the bar, he couldn’t figure out how to watch a show.

The week ahead can be a good one with warmer days, seeing my kids, Boy George, my red shoes arriving. Maybe I will get Joanne back?

I was downtown, with my long gone friends and all the buildings were back where I remembered them. The sun was just setting.

Please let me keep this in my head today, I want to work.

Other than that, I’m staying in, hoping he is steadier or I get some help.

I woke up and nearly lurched into a wall. I’m still sort of unable to walk a straight line, I don’t know what that means except I have to figure it out.

The tension of everything is physical too.

But I had interesting and good dreams, might’ve solved a writing thing in one of them.

It was another up and down night here. I really expected him to sleep but these periods of agitation are part of the disease.

His hallucinations wake him up and he has to get up and make sure the rest of the house is okay. Last night he opened the back door, which sends me an alarm.

Good morning!

18 days until Spring, less than 24 hours until the Full Moon. It already looks full.

I think it will be a doozy, I already feel wobbly.

I’m sick of being at a concert and having a tall drunk guy decide that I saved the space in front of me for him so he could dance, block my view and spill his drink on me.

It’s been a difficult day/weekend/week, but I booked a haircut and ordered a flouncy pink floral dress I don’t need, as I know that today does not predict tomorrow.

They stayed a few hours and Jenn called me crying after they left because she misses her grandkids and this really helped her.

I will continue to be on the verge of tears until they take that thing out of her head on Wednesday.

My younger son and his wife have been keeping my grandson away from people due to cold and flu season. It’s okay, he’s super cute and must be safe.

Today they took him to meet my sister in law who is having brain surgery in Manhattan on Wednesday.
