I won’t see her until dinner time. We’ve got PT this morning, which I really need, and then my scan is this afternoon.

I bet no one is sleeping on my block, there is a water leak and they are cutting up a driveway, but thankfully, not mine.

That full moon really did its thing.

I’m hoping she gets a better plan today that will make her more comfortable.

She is one of the very few people whose heart and mind I know. I wish everyone knew her, she has a reputation for being cold, but that’s her hearing. She concentrates so she doesn’t miss anything.

It really does feel like zero. Zero degrees, zero peace because the town has a bunch of heavy equipment out there from the water department.

I have a hydrant across the way and maybe it popped?

I slept poorly, I’m worried about my Joanne.

40 minute phone call with my son in law where every other remark was either “it’s the moon” or “I love you”.

I can’t have carbs tonight because I have a scan tomorrow and I really want to eat cookies and Doritos. I would walk through the snow to get Doritos.

An actual million years ago, I babysat neighbor kids who had a bird they would let out of its cage without warning. It once landed on my head and I had a panic attack.

Now, a million years later, one of those now grown kids has an office next to the pharmacy and I will not park in front of it ever.

Tomorrow afternoon I have my six month PET scan, which crept up on me. I’m not worried, but occasionally terrified and having to avoid carbs tonight makes me want food I never eat.

Time to start decreasing volume as I work towards the waist. Knitting is both boring and soothing right now and I’m putting it aside to write a little.

I also had a terrific conversation with my daughter in law. I never bother her, and today she said she misses me.

I’m still knitting through my feelings.

Joanne is struggling, but will see two doctors tomorrow. If you call her, she will tell you she is fine. If you see her, you know better.

I’m going back there soon, I’m going to do 2-3 visits a day until things are different.

Today’s knit check/fit check.

I have put on 9 pieces of winter gear, shoveled, moved the car back so the Meals on Wheels person has better access, removed 9 pieces of winter gear, had/having a Raynauds attack and just remembered I forgot breakfast.

Oatmeal once my fingertips pink up again.

The guy with dementia forgot that he told me he hated me yesterday and he’s already in the basement watching something loud so today might be okay.

And now that it’s light outside, the snow isn’t too much. It won’t take long.

Oh for sure, ties are weird and a waste of silk.

My daughter in law just sent me a photo of my not quite 4 month old grandson turning the pages of a book and then one of his wearing a hand puppet and I’m going to let those warm me today.

I would be very good at this. 30 hour work weeks for everyone! Full moons are holidays.

Thank you, I will be careful and maybe ask the guy up the block to do a run on the sidewalks with his snow blower. The driveway is just a little bit around the car, I’m back to parking it nearer the street.

I can stay home and do his medication change tomorrow.

It should be against labor law to schedule a work party during a full moon.

There, I’ve totally become your woo woo friend who might start sending you crystals.

I will, I pretty much walk in the road when it’s like this and today I might take a cane to stay stable. I know there is ice under some of this fluff.

That’s awful. I’m pretty good at anticipating when they have a package for me and making sure they can get to the door safely.

Plus my husband gets Meals on Wheels delivered around 11:15 each weekday and I either get the snow down to the pavement or I go meet them at the car.

I will bundle up. I’m great on snow gear and I won’t need to clear the entire driveway.

I plan to visit Joanne at lunchtime and again around dinner time. She has appointments tomorrow, I’m glad it will be a little warmer then.

My mail carriers cut through yards, rarely using sidewalks, and no kids walk to the bus on my block. But there are so many dog walkers that I always get out and clear mine as soon as it’s light enough.
I boycott the local Dairy Queen because that owner never clears his walk.

Plus if his mobility declines, I’ll have to make big decisions.

Hopefully he will have something on tv to distract him and maybe this will calm down.

It’s a Cold Moon Super Moon day, slow down out there!

Yesterday, after we saw the doctor and our friends, the guy with dementia had trouble walking and that frustration led to his being angry with me.

I don’t yet know how he will be today, but I am not good when anyone is angry with me. It makes me turn into a jerk.

I slept in, probably because I wanted to avoid the snow. It’s not a lot of snow, but it’s cold enough to make it something I want to avoid.

It’s only going to get colder today, ugh.

But I don’t have to go anywhere except the drugstore.

I might be able to put that off a day.

I’m glad you are making sleep a priority. I’m trying to reset a 10pm bedtime and stop waking up at 5.

I’ll see how it goes, but I’ve been working on staying up later.

I have Fios, it was one of the reasons I bought this house after having terrible Spectrum on Grand Island.
