This might be a weird comparison but im honestly reminded of Kyukyoku tiger with it, where after you beat the first five levels everything really steps into gear as you go into stages that are kinda remixed. Its that kind of thing.

Sala 3 gives you lots of lives but the actual stages of at least the back half of the first loop are reasonably challenging in themselves.

You can also just start from Any Loop/stage fyi and I think a loop 2 start is probably the way to go for seasoned salamander players.

It having the banger opening and "Stand by ready good luck" into Robotron 2084 bleeps and bloops instead of one of the best opening stage themes of any game is like absurdly funny imo

Coming back from a route split in Super Robot Wars is very funny, as Judau from ZZ Gundam introduces the Dunbine and Rayearth gang like "They are also now here. I assure you they had some story over there." And 9000 new mecha enter your squad.

This 2015 yeaar thing is really funny imo because I think the choices are shockingly easy to make for me but also extremely telling on how bad 2015 was for games. The best narrative goes to the incredibly pointless and not as good as the main game Fata Morgana expansion, and it's not close.

The music gadget in Night Striker using the old zuntata logo for the original OST and the new one for the Remix is such a lovely touch. Collection is awesome.

I love how this got revealed as a night striker port and now it's out it's more like Taito's gorefest + one of their best games for some reason

Did a playthrough of Salamander III, and I am glad M2 understood the assignment that Salamander is at it's heart, about crunched voice acting and looking kinda fucked up.

Also really fantastic soundtrack and I'm very interested in what it's doing with it's loop system.
