UK writer living in US. Love #MUFC. Ole-ball at its best was underrated.

30.08.2025 16:13 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 1 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0With all the activity in this window, the signing that excites me the most remains the first one we completed.
Re-watching highlights of pre-season and Cunha seems to have the lot. Just lacked a goal.
Used to hate playing Wolves mainly because of him. Should be fun to watch. #MUFC
I love his attributes. I get the reticent approach from fans. My FM 12 save has a better transfer record than United.
But he looks mustard, is 6'4, and his record is decent. Strikers at a pretty premium at the moment. I'm invested in the idea.
I'm still more excited by the Cunha x Fernandes link up. But Mbeumo is an exceptional signing, and I've got that pep in my step again.
18.07.2025 13:20 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0There's lots to be excited about now. The window about as good as it could have been given the clusterfuck last season (still need to sell and buy, but not holding my breath).
Mbeumo and Amad combining on one side is enough to make the heart sing. Will be interesting how Amorim sets it up.
Right. Mbeumo signed. Time to check back in. #MUFC
18.07.2025 13:16 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Yeah, it's a fair point.
I also get the sense he is a football fan.
Imagine being the guy to lead United into a new era of success, having waded through all this shite.
It's not guaranteed, but he'd be feted for decades.
Fans care about status, and he has a unique opportunity to cement his.
I don't want to believe the Mbuemo news as it's surely too good to be true. But if we were to sign him, I'm ready to get hurt again.
Suddenly, that right side looks packed. Still need a GK, WB (2x?), CM, and ST such is the scale of rebuild.
I couldn't believe a certain section of the fan base was so willing to do some deals with the money from Bruno.
He is a fantastic player. Just use your eyes. I'm ecstatic he's staying.
It would've been a crying shame if we didn't get to see our Portuguese magnifico play with Cunha.
#MUFC
This has been my gripe all season. They just look like they don't know the basics. 10 yard passes are bobbling all over. Poor first touches. And fouling in areas of the pitch that you're coached out of when young. Moronic.
08.05.2025 19:56 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Not even moved that Garnacho missed that. I'm never confident when he's through. If that's Amad, though, we are sailing through. #MUFC
08.05.2025 19:52 โ ๐ 3 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0These are the games that capture a generation. Football is just fucking great, isn't it? #CL
06.05.2025 21:00 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0I don't want to see him again. Fills me with anxiety. Embarrassing.
04.05.2025 14:35 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Why is Bayindir at this club?! #MUFC
04.05.2025 13:39 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0We cannot pass the ball without it bobbling. Infuriating. #MUFC
01.05.2025 19:18 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Despite the progress, Amorim can only work with what he's got. All three goals are from individual errors.
Really don't see the harm in bringing through the academy at this point. #MUFC
And that was really, really shite.
13.04.2025 16:42 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0OK fair enough that was good.
13.04.2025 16:07 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0This is my general feeling. We are obviously still bad. But it's getting better game by game. And he's working with some weird footballers.
13.04.2025 15:53 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0It's so evident Ruben Amorim has got us playing far better.
Defensively much tighter despite endless injuries.
Control of games more often than not.
Clearly its a poor side but I'm so impressed by what he's done with no resources in 5 months, despite endless criticism and bad fortune.
Utterly convinced we'd be in top half if Dalot didn't play for us. Harsh but true. #MUFC
13.04.2025 15:51 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0If Hojlund wants to put these performances in for the rest of time, he can have at it. But we reserve the right to crucify him for the rest of time.
Abnormally bad, even given his low standards.
Garnacho looks like he's physically dusted.
Less said about Onana the better. Yoro, though...
#MUFC
Really running out of patience with Garnacho, now. Would accept the right fee.
I know he can improve, but I've only seen him regress this year. He is lightweight and consistently makes the wrong decision. Capable of 100x better. Can't blame anyone other than himself. #MUFC
One thing I will say, Dalot has actually played well. Nice surprise. Maybe his customary one in 200 7.5/10 performances.
06.04.2025 16:21 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Honestly, I cannot think of a time when it's been worse. Time and again, no conviction, no calmness, no ruthlessness. All, aside from Bruno, freak out when they get within 20 yards of the goal.
06.04.2025 16:20 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Decent opening 30 minutes, with the usual heavy dosing of unforced errors and borderline child-like decision-making injected in for good measure.
Do think we are improving, though. #MUFC

Garnacho is so, so frustrating. How can you be offside there?!
