Alchemised SenLinYu Audiobook cover of a brown darker overgrown castle with an iron gate open and yellow lights on inside and a figure in a red cloak standing just inside the entrance I generally enjoyed it through part one, big adjustment for part 2 but then settled in, and then part 3 felt the most disjointed like borderline an epilogue that didn’t didn’t add too much to the story or development. By the midpoint I started thinking that it should’ve either been split into two books or have a solid third of it cut, especially because several scenes were near-repeats. Bummed because it had a lot that worked, but was either too complex (more info needed about the alchemy system and terms without external research) or not flushed out enough.

Leave it to Mercury Retrograde to have me realize I’d completely written down the wrong day for the eclipse. It’s on 3/3 not 3/2. I’ve thought this was the date since the Fall referenced in my other video (recorded last week).

I’ve been excited to see Hamnet bc I recently read the book, but during the Actor awards last night they showed a promo (I’ve generally avoided for all the nominees), SAW JOE ALWYN WAS IN IT, AND THIS WAS ME

I’ve seen 3 so far and thought all were great (but gory at times 😆). Very happy for the Sinners ensemble winning that Actor last night, and all of the casts have been solid thus far!
