I’m forty years old. Way too old to give a shit about social media hearts and relevance or getting dopamine hits from showing my boobs or butt. Too lazy and not quite desirable enough to go into porn for the amount of reward it would net me. Blech.

Maybe I’ll just ditch this account and go back to putting more effort into my black metal project than other more successful but way lazier artists do with little payoff.

I think I’m wasting my time. This site, much like IG or Reddit, just makes me feel like I am out of touch and just desperately trying to get people to ogle me or laugh with me or think I’m worthy of their attention.

I think the only reason I am on this site is because I feel like it fills some social void in me, like I can be seen as cool or desirable or funny or pretty if the right people acknowledge it. I have friend-crushes on a lot of the people I follow, but I don’t catch any of their attention.
