I am diving into Facebook ads and will do transparency posts about my experience. This has been my best month in a long while (so close to $200).

No problem. I've learned from others doing similar posts.

I ended up spending about $400 on ads for the month. It took me a while to find a successful ad. I assume that I will continue at a deficit for another month or two as I find out more about making ads more successful. But I hope to close the gap between spend and sales quickly.

This ad received the best purchase rate. It features the most clear image of No Heart for a Thief and a simple quote from a review.

The following ads didn't invite many clicks. I don't know if it's because they featured the series rather than a single book.

Of all the ads I ran, this brought in the most clicks. However, it didn't bring in sales. The silly tone of the ad doesn't fit the serious tone of the books. Which is my guess why it didn't convert sales.
