Sure and my med school class average owed at the end was $125k except that the actual owed was either $250k bc full loans or $0 bc parents paid.

Also remember you are just there for facts. Nothing else. If they are guilty, that is on them. If they are not, then yay for them.

When on stand, answering yes, no, I don’t know are better than trying to remember. Answer with short answers and answer the exact question. Bring your reading glasses if you need them. Professional dress (duh).

Most of my questions were either about my credentials (basically establishing that I am a qualified doctor working the day in question) or about the medical record (in front of me). A few about stuff that I might remember about the cases.

The first step, call the people who subpoenaed you and find out what they need. Ask to see any materials you might be asked to identify. Ask to be put On Call (might be called something different), so you can be called off if things change - things always change.
