As a child psychiatrist I couldn’t agree more with Dr. Rubin. A majority of my ASD patients are high functioning and smart. And go to college and have jobs. And many have parents also on the spectrum. This message by RFK not only harms individuals with ASD but also their families and friends.

Angry physician here. It is not physicians to blame when insurance will not cover medications, scans, surgery and now anesthesia it appears. We do prior auths daily to help our patients. Our own health care is impacted by the bs as well. No anesthesia is inhumane and cruel!
