The American military is going to be making a nation altering set of decisions in the near future

Do they follow orders to move against fellow citizens participating in legal protests in violation of the American First Amendment? (Legal as per the spirit of the Constitution)

Beyond this, as the force is being deployed against protesters, and the early narrative is to directly link those protesters as direct representatives of the Executive office’s political rivals, it is preparing citizens for the use of armed force against anyone not in line with the Executive

Using a national military force against your internal political rivals is a crossing of the Rubicon

Even though the force is not fighting directly against the state and its governor (yet) it has inherently reduced state rights

It seems to me that things in America are rapidly (in a historical scale) coming to a head

Trump has used his national executive powers to militarily infringe upon the independent rights of a state (California) because they are governed by political rivals
