Catching the sun on her sword just right took a bit of trial and error, but I’m happy with how it came out. Black and white side by side with color because I can’t ever choose.

So for context in My Name is Earl there is a strip club called “Chubbys” originally the owner was played by Burt Reynolds. Burt didn’t want to come back so they cast Norm as his son “little Chubby” and dressed him in traditional Burt Reynolds wear.

You can actually see a younger Norm playing Burt Reynolds in My Name is Earl.

I love shooting with only a small concept in mind and watching it evolve during the shoot.

I’ve mostly been posting portraits because that’s what I’ve been doing lately, but after this one I’m going to switch it up a bit. This shoot was really important to the model, and I did my best to capture her vision.
