Have you tried the combo button presses btw? They didn't work for me but maybe you're lucky? (••• button and - volume button and power button, + volume button and power button, etc)
Also I'm going to try opening mine up to disconnect and reconnect the battery but it looks scary, have you tried it?

It died the exact day I ordered a dock online and it arrived today and I can't even test the dock to see if it works. I guess I should just return it. 😥

This happened to me too very recently! 😭 Mine didn't run out of battery though, it decided to become a brick at about half charge.
I'm really sorry this happened to you too, it's so sad to be without games. 😥

Honestly I don't understand how steam customer service has such a reputation for being so helpful, I've had to contact them twice and both times they told me to go away and stop wasting their time. Every other company's customer service I've talked to in my life was better, including Nintendo.

Could this update have bricked my deck? I installed it and then shortly after it turned off at half charge and won't turn back on or charge or anything.

My steam deck won't charge, I think she's dead😭 I'm not sure if I should save up to pay them to fix it ($200-ish) or save up to buy the updated one with better battery, screen, weight, etc OR try to fix mine myself?? I had just started playing it again too, this is so depressing
