I hold out hope that Mark Critch was right, and Hon. Evan Solomon got the job because of his great track record of being replaced.

For such a consequential portfolio, we deserve a Minister whose professional qualifications go beyond being able to read off a teleprompter. (however, based on the GoC's 30-day "sprint" and weighting towards corps with huge conflicts - it seems that's most likely why Minister Solomon got the job)
