The only saving grace is that they did this in a solid red state. At least their optics suck, and maybe that will shake the consciences of a few of those who are pointed to as Trump supporters, and motivate them to push their elected representatives to do their job.

I saw a guy on TV Jan 6 who said he was by Babbitt at the door when the rioters were warned by armed defenders not to come through. She began to push through & was shot. She slipped down to the floor; he held her; she refused his offer to get medical help; she said he should continue the assault.

I have great respect for your statement as a former trooper that swearing to defend the Constitution is diff from taking a loyalty oath to Trump. In his ads he comes across as a candidate for the common man - more housing, e.g. He’s also trashing Mayor Wu for pledging millions to a soccer stadium for the women’s soccer league (would compete w/Krafts’ stadium).

Do wolves or coyotes or dingos splay like this, or just dogs around humans? Inquiring minds want to know…

OK, this is not charitable of me, but the enormous destruction Trump has unleashed on us (and the world) leaves me feeling (at least right now) that there should be no bail-outs for MAGA farmer states who SHOULD AND COULD HAVE KNOWN BETTER than to support the Orange Monster.

Bernie and AOC are actually not far left. Neither is recommending communism, nor even extensive socialism. They are demanding a fair sharing of the wealth of the country. The huge crowds they are getting are an indication that their message is broadly attractive.

Yes. There are likely many who are not members of any gang, and who have not committed crimes in the USA, but got swept up. The incompetence and indifference demonstrated in the couple of cases we know about, from litigation, was surely at work when others were rounded up.
