Rigging Electric and Rigging Grip were the 2 we did with Netflix. The one we’re building out now is an extension of those (and added light board operator so it’s a full “lighting the universe” training), and we’re looking at others as well including set dressing, locations PA, and more.

I built a raised garden bed and planted strawberries (which were eaten by bunnies), lavender (which never bloomed), and pumpkins (which too over the whole bed). This is my single pumpkin that’s about twice as big now.

We’re up to 3 outdoor cats we’re caring for. Henry was really sick for a couple days and we were worried we’d lose him, but he recovered and is back to normal. I’m planning to trap the newest guy who we’ve named Laszlo because he’s very sweet and very stupid and young. Genghis is still skittish.

-I organized 2 trainings for Netflix in August and I’m working on a couple more trainings for other studios in Albuquerque and I’m more or less recreating my role to be focused more on film
-I’ve been screening lots of films for Santa Fe International Film Festival

I haven’t been on here a lot. Here’s what I’ve been up to:
-In May I started a GLP1, started cooking at home most nights, and going to the gym 3-4 times a week and have lost a good amount of weight
-Human baby was sick a lot all summer long but when we wasn’t, we managed to get out of the house

It remains really fucking weird how all the MAGA people can tell you with a straight face that 1) America is great again and we are winning at everything and this is the new golden age, and *also* 2) every city in America is a dystopian shithole where everyone is getting raped and murdered daily.

Honestly I may just skip it and see the 2 people I’m still actually friends with instead (1 of whom isn’t going to the reunion anyway).
