It was obvious that Boston was about to enter a rebuild. Dave Dombrowski was fired after poor decisions, the pitching stunk, etc.

Did they want it to take this long? I’m sure not, and it probably didn’t help making a stunning playoff run in ‘21.

But, now is the time to make a legit title push.
