Totally fair. My understanding is insurance is now requiring people to enroll in a virtual health program to provide coverage, in addition to the BMI/clinical requirements. Is the concern that PHI is being de-identified and a mass of user data is shared? Or that PHI data isnโ€™t secure at Omada?

Curious how getting the vials goes for you. I haven't used the vials or Lilly Direct yet, but will switch if my new doctor isn't able to get insurance to cover it in the next few weeks

I just switched to a new doctor because they have a team in their office that is focused just on working with insurance companies to get coverage. Hoping that itโ€™ll make a difference because $550 a month isnโ€™t sustainable for me

This happens to me! The struggle is that for me it also applies to drinking water so I have to really put effort in to stay hydrated. Otherwise I donโ€™t really have the urge

Thatโ€™s great! I make sure to be extra careful about what I eat when moving up a dose because itโ€™s the only time I really experience side effects. Iโ€™m moving up to 10mg on Thursday.

I first found out from my PCP in 2022, back when it was easily covered by insurance. Didnโ€™t know really anything about it at the time

We just submitted the first production build to the App Store! Sage is coming very soon.

I feel this, going up a dose would help but I eventually plateaued on Ozempic. Zepbound was able to kickstart it again for me, but even Zepbound plateaus a bit for me if I donโ€™t increase the dose after a while. Changing injection sites also has helped

Same - I feel like before it I was struggling more on days 5/6/7. On Zepbound, I feel it through the whole week pretty much.

Just got back from a work trip and weighed in. Bad sleep, cupcakes, happy hours, every meal from a restaurant. Before Zepbound, Iโ€™d get back home and Iโ€™d have gained 5lbs. On Zepbound, itโ€™s .2 lbs. So freeing to not feel anxious about food while traveling. #glp1 #zepbound #tirzepatide #mounjaro

Yeah I struggled with that as well. My doctor said to take miralax/clearlax/etc a couple times a week and that's helped, but it doesn't feel like something I want to do forever

When I titrate up, I notice that the day or two following my shot I'm much colder, and that happens for a few weeks. So honestly I usually turn the heat higher and layer up to prepare.

I do the same thing except a Fairlife Nutrition Plan shake, I get them from Costco

I also did the switch not too long ago - Ozempic to Zepbound. They feel pretty different to me, curious what your experience has been so far

14.03.2025 07:30 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 1    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 1    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

I'm about to switch to Lilly Direct, at least they've dropped the prices more if you get it straight through them. And metformin also didn't really do wonders for me

14.03.2025 07:27 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 1    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 0    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

That makes sense, Iโ€™m curious what you mean about customizing doses. I usually just take mine once a week so Iโ€™m generally not customizing. And Iโ€™ll check out Lose it, I use Vida for food tracking because my insurance covers it, but I donโ€™t love it

Would love to hear what you think of it - what do you like about it? How do you think it could be better?

This is exactly what happened to me. I was able to lose about 12lbs on Ozempic but was stuck there for months. I switched to Zepbound and was able to kickstart it again, and am now down an additional 20lbs.

13.03.2025 05:29 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 0    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 0    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

Good luck! I started Zepbound for very similar reasons and while I haven't hit my goal yet, I'm moving in the right direction when it felt hopeless before. For me, it definitely makes it significantly easier, but I also wouldn't call it effortless. Really rooting for you!

Thatโ€™s awesome! The mental freedom changed my life too, and itโ€™s a massive relief when your body finally starts cooperating after struggling for so long

13.03.2025 05:01 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 2    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 1    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

Yeah same, itโ€™s so helpful hearing other peoplesโ€™ experiences when these drugs are so new and many people arenโ€™t super comfortable discussing them

12.03.2025 18:44 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 2    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 0    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

Thatโ€™s incredible, congrats!

Whoa I didnโ€™t know that either, good to know thanks!

Wow thatโ€™s huge, congrats!

Same, the urge to drink has definitely decreased with Zepbound, and if Iโ€™m drinking Iโ€™m going for less heavy options. I do still drink wine on a rare occasion, but would be nervous to drink beer

12.03.2025 08:29 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 1    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 0    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

Nice! I find that I adjust to the dose pretty quickly, but going up a dose can be rough again at first.

12.03.2025 08:20 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 0    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 1    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

Good luck! The beginning when I first felt my food mindset shifting was so freeing

12.03.2025 08:17 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 2    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 0    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

Oh that's interesting, I've never tried that

Same, I also start basically every day with a Fairlife shake to help make sure I'm getting enough calories/protein
