But yeah, Snoke was a very mysterious figure in TFA, his presence haunts Han and Leia, his music even sounds like Plagueis' theme.
But that makes his sudden unceremonious death the perfect moment to separate the first part of TLJ (classic SW parallels) from the second

I definitely think Thrawn will appear soon, if not this film then certainly in Dave's if that's still happening

It would be cool to see Snoke in some form in this film, maybe the original Snoke (assuming he's not the Prime Jedi) which the Supreme Leader is cloned from
A nice bridge to the Sequels

Those who know me know I'm a huge fan of Star Wars: Legends and Canon, and I'm usually positive about it.
I love the Sequel era, the High Republic, the 'Mandoverse', Rebels, etc
I'm excited for Star Wars' return to theaters

How far do you think this show will take the "evil means yield evil ends" theme?
I hope we see Maul build up his criminal 'empire' for war against Sidious, even betraying Devon, only for the real Empire (especially Vader) to destroy it all, leading Maul to where he starts in Rebels.

I hope #MaulShadowLord is about how you can't defeat evil with evil, in the vein of Shadow Of Mordor (and more poignantly its sequel)

Dominating, manipulating, subjugating others to your will, making an army of victims to defeat a worse evil by force, will never succeed. Evil means yield evil ends.

Which is kind of the opposite of what I had expected in the beginning.

Popular stories had me thinking of castles as status symbols (which they were) first, not really as fortresses. And swords as weapons of war (which they were), not fashion.

But swords were status symbols, castles were weapons.

The more I learn of Castle design, the more I realize that all the coolest & prettiest aesthetics are chosen because they're the strongest, most tactical, or downright lethal ways to build a fortress

The more I learn of Sword design the more I realize it was often more about fashion and convenience

Why do you claim Deadline reported Dave Filoni's new movie is on the backburner and will feature Mando, BoBF, Ahsoka, & Skeleton Crew characters, and Thrawn, when it's not mentioned in the article you link to?

Ultimately it's up to the Disney executives, but given that Dave's been trying to build connective tissue for the Sequels (much like he managed for the Prequels in TCW) in Rebels; Bad Batch; Resistance; and the 'Mandoverse', I think there's a better chance for ST fans to be heard under Dave's reign

I took it as her not needing to mention it because it's actively being worked on (much like TM&G or Starfighter), whereas the others are in various states of pre-production and need clarification on their status.

But she does say the trilogy is "what's up next", so I guess you're right😅

Kathleen Kennedy is a legendary film producer who helped make some of the greatest stories of all time.
I think her stewardship had its problems but overall she was invaluable to the integrity of #StarWars
I'm also very excited to see what changes under Dave Filoni's inspired leadership and vision💜

I like the idea of Galaxy’s Edge and definitely intend to return to America (if it still exists in a couple years) to visit Batuu, meet Rey, & antagonize the First Order
It's still too early to guess what this means for the future of SW, maybe they're finally matching the original vision for GE

That way they could build recreations of those sets for us to walk around in, like the Royal Naboo Starship; Echo Base; the extinct forests of Starkiller; or Yoda's hut, without breaking the immersion of the park existing in a particular time (First Order-Resistance War) with a bunch of guests.

I still think what Galaxy’s Edge should have been is a Museum of relics from all planets & eras, a collection of items and historical reconstructions of significant structures, such as the Lars Homestead; the Jedi Council Chambers; the Endor bunker; Rey's AT-AT home; or the Emperor's Throne Room

I also don't love the idea of ANH-ESB Luke wandering around looking for lightsaber crystals and components when an entire shop of seemingly limitless supply is right around the corner.
Guests telling Luke about his father and sister will be annoying because he'll have to play dumb to all of it.

I'm just concerned that Disney is distancing themselves from the Sequels (as they did with the Prequels while making TFA), and sticking to what's safe rather than someone's artistic vision for this immersive experience, which has become less immersive over the years.

We should be not only embracing the Sequels era, but soon starting to hype up this new exciting era beyond the New Republic, First Order, and Resistance.
Maybe this change is to better suit The Mandalorian and Grogu this year, and they'll change it again next year for SW: Starfighter.
