I can recommend, and HIGHLY recommend in TBW's case, both Gunpoint and Tactical Breach Wizards.
Both can be thought of as combat puzzle games, with really enjoyable stories and unique worlds to boot.

The front grill of a 1930's Wolseley car. A classic chrome frames grill, with a bright chrome mesh. Towards the top of the grill is a Wolseley badge, red text on a semi-transparent white background, lit up from behind by an incandescent bulb.
The same car seen from further back, now at an angle with it's headlights windscreen and wings visible. The bodywork is glossy black, and the glowing badge is still visible.
There is precedence for lit emblems going back to the 30's to be fair.
If I remember rightly it served as a daytime running light.
But yeh, it's way overdone on modern vehicles.
