@nicol oh! What do you mean with unpublish? It only sends deleted if you put it in trash!

@nicol it SHOULD send a delete Activity! I do not think it is a mastodon caching issue! I would assume that mastodon is also clearing the cache on every incoming delete!

@nicol what event plugin do you use? do you use the event bridge plugin?

aber du musst uns verstehen, das ist nunmal der weg den WordPress eingeschlagen hat und mit einer überschaubaren anzahl an entwicklern muss man prioritäten setzen, wenn man voran kommen will.

@seindal we started working on a Move functionality, but the result was not really satisfying. Move was built to migrate accounts to different servers and is mainly (only) supported by mastodon. same server changes are not working very well right now.

@seindal there is no migration process for changing the profile id (yet) and the general support in the fediverse is very limited, so you would indeed lose followers.

Yes it will post the reply as regular post that is normally listed.
