It’s obvious the government didn’t do any worthwhile technical consultation when implementing the Online Safety Act. Without an outright VPN ban for under 18s, it’s worthless. Ask anyone working education IT/safeguarding, schools already deal with students using VPNs to bypass web filtering daily.

War of the Worlds (2025) is a complete car crash. I’m unsure what to rate it out of 10, but laughed way too much to give it a measly 1/10 😂 If you have a soft spot for films that are “so bad it’s good”, watch it and laugh at the lines, the delivery, and overall absurdity! #filmsky

PC gaming is weird. You can buy a tonne of super cheap games on the Steam Summer Sale and marvel how cheap PC gaming is, causally forgetting you just dropped 2k building a stylish glowing fish tank type thing to play them on.

Tried taking Tyrosine today before my ADHD meds. The effect normally peaks at 3 hours, & back to normal after 6. Today with Tyrosine it hasn’t notably dipped, & 14 hours later im worried whether ill be able to sleep tonight at all whilst dancing around my kitchen 😱🕺

That feeling when the ADHD meds kick in

Just finished Robocop: Rogue City & holy s**t that was so much fun. You can see the devs really took what they were doing seriously here. You really feel like Robocop when walking into a room of bad guys and popping headshots whilst the theme song plays over the top. Amazing.

Day 3 on Elvanse / Vyvanse

No awful crash again today, but I did get anxious as it started wearing off around 6 hours. The whole effect is much more subtle than it was a couple of days ago. Super weird.

Day 2 on Elvanse.
I didn’t get the same focus & motivation today, but thankfully didn’t get the afternoon crash and splitting headache either. Just a little tired.
Overall a much more stable day than yesterday.

Sad thing is; despite Nvidia intentionally VRAM gimping their budget/mainstream card & working hard to hide it, everyone (including Nvidia) knows it’ll still be a huge seller.

After a very mixed 1st day on Elvanse/Vyvanse I took a few days break & starting again yesterday. Incredible focus for 6 hours both times, but the crashes afterwards and sleep disturbances are horrendous. Hope Day 2 is easier 🤞🏻#ADHD

Watch a bunch of dumb space explorers nearly die time and time again as all they have to defend themselves are some little rockets that don’t do anything and a grappling hook

Yeah, I read that sometimes higher doses are less associated with crashes & that it typically settles down after a while. Reassuring to know it’s a common experience at least!

There’s a really weird dichotomy in Star Trek Enterprise Season 1.

On one hand they have more or less all the same tech as later (just different names), & Earth has had interstellar ships for like 100 years.

Given that it doesnt make sense just how naive, reckless & totally unprepared they are.

Rollercoaster 1st day on Elvanse/Vyvanse.

At 1 hr my brain went very quiet. Got a lot more done than usual for the next 6 hrs. Amazing.

Started wearing off 3pm & heart rate went up. Crashed at 5pm

Heart rate elevated till 10pm, slept for 3 hours then wide awake with a migraine at 1am 😳

I took my first ever ADHD medication (Elvanse) earlier, and my brain has gone......quiet......

No idea, just picked them up. You’re supposed to take them early in the day to minimise the chance of them affecting your sleep, so holding off till tomorrow.

Thought I’d watch The Gorge earlier and had pretty low expectations, but throughly enjoyed it. An unusual mash up of sci-fi, thriller, horror and a romcom but it works. 7/10
