Nothing tests your patience, attention to detail, and finesse with power tools like assembling Ikea
furniture.
Pretty much everyone I know - in the corporate world or otherwise - says, "off the record," at the start of any information they'd want to share without attribution or with a third party.
Continue to do the good work, Anna; more power to you.
The magic you are looking for is in the work you're avoiding.

FINISH what you begin.
Do a little bit MORE than you think.
Do a little but BETTER than you think.
<Creating a series of these as "self-notes">
This packs so much in such a simple way.
- Show up on time
- Know the text
- Have an idea

Prompt engineering is like using a GPS for navigating an AI model.
You define where you want to go (your goal),
provide the right inputs (your prompt and context),
and optimize your phrasing (route)
to ensure the model (navigation system)
takes you there efficiently.
One thing you learn as a runner - feeling good vs fully recovered are two different things.
Always know the difference - whether in running or in life. It will help you get better faster or be hurt harder in the long run.
Patience and persistence for attempting perfection.

Decades later, we still remember the exact moment when we heard the news.
And if there's one thing we should have learned that day, it is that violence isn't a solution. It is time to reflect as a country and as a society.
To friends, coworkers, acquaintances who we lost that day and since then. πΊπΈ

Being process-oriented vs goal-oriented has single-handedly changed how I think about things.
I wish more people believed and executed on it.
I recently discovered two excellent articles that are highly relevant to the current trends, especially with the growing interest in "outsourcing" writing tasks.
It's a well-known principle that one should never delegate one's core competencies.
When I gather up links for my newsletter, I categorize them under a taxonomy of UX sins. But I'm honestly at a loss when it comes to this bullshit, because it ticks so many boxes at once.
It's a little early for a rant, but I hope you'll oblige me.
hahah! I can relate.

Long-form research and writing isn't going anywhere. People will continue to seek expertise, authenticity, and professionals with extensive industry experience.
AI is certainly helping with the research, and possibly with structuring the content. Curious what others think?
