I think a lot more indie animation would be made if we could let go of wanting to impress with laborous animation with many poses and details when we could get away with simpler pose to pose stuff with lots of held drawings. People will still watch for the story

I feel like a part of the reason why people don't go searching for things to enjoy is because, one, it's difficult to do so in any successful way, and two, because there's not really anything to find.

you can't enjoy, say, Severance, and then go find a fan forum like it's 2003.

Visited the MIT Museum today and saw this sketchbook page from the artist (Wing Ngan) who created the Scratch Cat logo.

This is how I still create characters too (on sheets of paper).

For those who do this step digitally, do you delete or erase the sketches you don’t like? Or do you keep them.
