What a cast! Vincent Price, Peter Lorre, Boris friggin' Karloff and a young Jack Nicholson, all in one movie?! Nice!
Heavy on comedic tones and cheap effects. Despite Karloff being visibly annoyed at the constant ad-libbing by Lorre, it still brings out the best in him.

You know a movie's impact when it keeps getting referenced many decades later. Mifune plays a complete crazy man, who relishes in his antics, but is shown his limits by the events.
