How could one gain an unbiased view of the complications arising from renal denervation in real-world use?

That’s a great question! When operating in near normal arteries, the n will have to be big before complications are visible. Anecdotal changes in BP will be immediately reported without a control arm & ABPM measure. Will science lose to marketing? Did we learn from Rheos & Simplicity?
