Brighton Marathon Weekend is always special; the city was buzzing, and the weather was great.
I had an amazing time running the 10k for Roald Dahl Children Charity; the link is still open for donations if anyone can spare a few quid.

Too many bottlenecks and crowding at the start lost me a minute or so. Once I knew that was off I relaxed in to just enjoying the day!

So true. I was in the same mindset last year for a 1:30 half and did it in 1:29:45. Raceday boost is real!

Currently training to do a Sub-40 10k beofre I'm 40.
11.03.2025 22:58 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Came down here in 2021. It's wonderful, at the end of my road I can turn left and run to the seafront in 15 mins turn right and it's a 15 minute run to the South Downs. Such a great vibe and good people down here.

Testing out the Runna app, I like the interface and plan setting.
Anyone out there have any experience with it? Is it worth using long term? How does it hold up against Garmin?

Never let running become a chore. If it feels like it is you need to determine what made it becone a chore. Once you know what that is switch that part up, is it the weather? Do some indoor training, is it a tough training regime? Look at adjusting it. Is it an injury? Take a break.
