Yes you are right - I do have difficulty recognising trans women as women. Whether I like it or not? I couldn’t give a flying fuck what gender anyone is - it’s their business, not mine. Providing a safe community for minority groups is what I am interested in.

Don’t you think the communities formed with like minded people, are the best and safest ground for minorities? To join a women’s group and listen to endless conversations about babies, uterus’s, bleeding, menopause etc would be distressing for a trans woman. It’s not their support community.

My point is that men, including those who identify as women, always want to invade women’s, who were born as women, private spaces. Men born as men have their private clubs, why can’t women who are born as women?
Trans men would never be allowed into the Melbourne Club.
