Harry Kane wore this armband four Prides ago, when England defeated Germany in a EURO 2020 Round of 16 tie.
The captain scored the second goal in a 2-0 win, heading home the goal that would seal progression to the quarters.
It is now part of our Game of our Lives display.
Big European silverware. Small enough for your pocket. π
Tiny versions of the Champions League, Europa League and Europa Conference League trophies, available at the museum and from our online shop.

A shorter autobiography published by Albert Geldard and John K. Rowlands.
It formed the basis for this shorter, well illustrated autobiography that he created with the late John K. Rowlands in 1989.
John's widow, Catherine, has very kindly donated the manuscripts to @nfmofficial.bsky.social
A sample of a newspaper autobiography for Alex James of Arsenal
Itβs very important because player autobiographies are relatively rare prior to 1945.
Prior the SWW, some leading players had their stories serialized in newspapers. Another, Samuel Wadsworth, recorded his unpublished manuscript onto audiotape.
A page from Albert Geldard's original manuscript for his unpublished autobiography
Delighted to share a superb recent donation - the original autobiography of Albert Geldard.
From 1929 to 2008 he was the EFLβs youngest player. Debuted with Bradford Park Avenue v Millwall at 15 years and 158 days
Moved to #Everton and won 1933 FA Cup alongside Dixie Dean and 4 caps for England
Born on this day in 1946, football's first true fashion icon, and one of Manchester United's most exciting players.

A little look ahead to the weekend's FA Cup action...
Did you know that this will be the first time Crystal Palace have made it to the final without Alan Pardew's involvement?

A Blackpool FC crest from the 1953 FA Cup Final
A caricature of Stan Mortensen carrying a ball and an FA Cup on a football rattle
On this day in 1953, Blackpool lifted the FA Cup with a thrilling 4-3 comeback win against Bolton Wanderers.
It's often referred to as the Matthews Final - but there's so much more to the story than one man's genius on the wing.

Hello there. π

A photo of a photo of Luton Town players celebrating with the trophy
On this day in 1988...
Luton Town completed a remarkable turnaround in the League Cup Final in a truly chaotic end to the game.
A saved penalty and two late goals in the final ten minutes shellshocked holders Arsenal, as the Hatters clinched their first major trophy.
A black and white photo of Stuart Pearce playing for Nottingham Forest
Many happy returns today to England and Nottingham Forest legend Stuart Pearce.
Undoubtedly one of the country's greatest ever left-backs.

So England's senior side has never played Latvia... but the Lionesses have.
In 2021, Sarina Wingman's team hosted a Latvian side comprised of young amateurs.
Hemp scored four and Russo, White and Mead all bagged hat-tricks in a resounding 20-0 win: the largest in Lionesses history.

On this day in 1966, the Jules Rimet Trophy was stolen (for the first time) π±
Thieves took it from a stamp exhibition at Westminster Central Hall, sneaking in and out via the back entrance.
The FA's clandestine replica is safely under lock and key on our Match Gallery.
