Oh not at all. You misconstrue and I expressed myself poorly. I am all for keeping USAID. I think it is ridiculous that anyone would think that $259 per taxpayer (or any amount) is worth the disruption of international goodwill and human dignity.

Is the point of "government efficiency" to reduce taxes?

If so, killing USAID just gave every taxpayer in America $259 tax relief.

(I know that's not how it works, but the raw math is $40 billion budget divided by 154 million taxpayers)
