Hey Chicagoans: if you use #Discord you should contact the state attorney to complain about the face scan requirement being a violation of the Biometric Information Privacy Act and cite the time Discord's vendor suffered a third-party leak of 70,000 government IDs.

This hurts everyone in the long run.
Reminder: Biometrics are not legally protected, and Discord just had a data breach last year.
For anyone and everyone that uses Discord: if you have Nitro, cancel it immediately. If they don't walk this back and in fact roll it out, consider alternatives. Even if we can't stop it we can hit them where it hurts.
