"Stuprate" has current significance. Well, always, actually...but some interpretations of the word are applicable to currently powerful people.

The book I'm reading had two words I had to look up. The first was "ordure", which was in a nearby dictionary and was a pleasant surprise. The second was "stuprate", which was not in three dictionaries, two hardbound and one softcover. The huge Webster's Unabridged had it. It's also online.

I got my Eureka Altima back in what, 1990 or so. Had some babysitting cleanup to do. Maybe I had it before that...can't remember. Keep up part replacement and regular greasing (oil? haha) and it should work forever.

It's not health insurance. It's insurance.

It has little, if anything, to do with health.

Not sure about the 1990s meme applying to my 1960s/1970s school days. The definitions are different...but I wanted to achieve *my* goals, not *theirs* (not sure that's understood, but...), and mine were fuzzy. Constantly moving.

I wonder if I *had* an ideal. I bet, for everyone, YMMV.

I suspect very few reach their ideal.

Years ago, I decided to re-paint all the trim in my house. Got that done, was pleased, *and* was pleased at what I'd learned doing it (transcended the goal). Then I decided to re-paint every wall and ceiling. Damn the goalposts.

What happened to Bobbie Coleman? Are photos of her...well, I found what appears to be one. Does she still have a job?

Any other photos of Bobbie Coleman? For someone with such a prominent post in that party, it seems she's been cleansed from the Internet.

Another "free steak dinner" US mail arrived. Sure enough, it's about retirement income. I'd never been to one of these, and I'm not sure I want to eat steak. Sigh.

It's an art form.

When I was looking for a house, I liked using a powerful flashlight on walls and corners. It didn't matter much but I wanted to see if others were as bad as I was at making things match up. Esp. kitchen countertops where they meet a door or dishwasher. Moulding = coverup.
