it's my opinion that minecraft is probably the best game ever made. it's at least in the top 3

i'm so gd jealous of people who get to play minecraft for the first time. they always think it's gonna be a simple and easy game. then they see it's complex and they die a bunch and hear the beautiful music

I MUCH prefer Razer because of the shape and fit of their products, and I'm most familiar with them (and Synapse.) Someone gave me a Cxrsair setup and god, all of it sucks except the keyboard, which has no issues! But I don't like the color options they have.

I've come to the conclusion that at least *most* game peripheral brands are close in quality

After trying Rxzer, HypxrX, and Cxrsair, they all just be falling apart. My old Rxzer stuff STILL WORKS but the new stuff seems to come with issues and break sooner

Cxrsair has been the worst for me tho 💀

i'm still terribly sick after my boston trip and spending my time watching all the player housing videos, if it isn't obvious

but then, a part i don't understand, is the "HEH WAIT AND SEE. IT'LL ALL BE SHOP-BASED" suspicions
be so fr WoW isn't even BAD about the shop compared to other mmos. they wouldn't do that because they haven't done that with anything ever

maybe it's that i'm an eternal optimist and big dreamer, but i expected the full control that they're giving us LMAO

people had low trust in the wow devs, which i understand, but there's no way they'd do the "you have 3 options for a window here, 4 options for a bed here, etc" thing. NO WAY

i feel alone in that player housing IS what i expected it to be. some time during DF ion said something like "if we did do player housing, it'd take many expansions, because we know how high players' standards would be for something like that"

since then i was like "oh yes they're DOING it"

i loved it, to be clear! i just did not realize how much of my time it took up, even when not gaming i'll be thinking about it, roster, gear lmao. a great time with amazing friends for sure, but it's like a full-time job

Me too!! I had a nasty illness 2 winters ago but two tests a week apart came back negative. I've never been around someone who had it to my knowledge, either. I still mask in public indoor areas, thankfully it's still common to do so in Portland lmao

raiding at a certain level rly takes up most of your free time, even if you only actually raid 6-9 hours a week. all the optimizing gearing, studying, practicing, theorycrafting etc
