Australia just recorded zero cervical cancer cases in women under 25 for the first time since records began in 1982. The amazing result of HPV vaccination.

Weird how many racists like to self-identify themselves as racists.

Jewish people are not the same thing as the state of Israel.

I get that it might be confusing because way too many of our elected leaders seem to reject this concept, but this is yet another way the rest of us can be better than those elected leaders.

1-866-952-4456 to tell Netflix that in no way do you want Elon fucking Musk determining what you watch.

I just called, got through in about 15 seconds, and told them that I strongly support queer inclusion in their programming and that I will cancel my subscription if they cave.

Eddie received a fantastic reception in his hometown and looked like a legitimate badass before the match.

@therapyjeff.bsky.social knows his shit. I'd add tip 5.5: make a safe space for what a child hears in in-person social spaces. Belonging matters to boys, but if you can offer a judgement-free reflection zone, the shit they'll want to adopt from friends' feeds will be met with YOUR context.

Karen,
I am writing to inform you that The Post is terminating your employment effective
immediately for gross misconduct. Your public comments on social media regarding the
death of Charlie Kirk violate The Post’s social media policies, harm the integrity of our
organization, and potentially endanger the physical safety of our staff.
Among other requirements, the Company-wide social media policy mandates that all
employee social media postings be respectful and prohibits postings that disparage people
based on their race, gender or other protected characteristics. The policy also reminds
employees that everything they post is a reflection on the Company and should not affect
the integrity of The Post’s journalism. Your postings on Bluesky (which clearly identifies you
as a Post Columnist) about white men in response to the killing of Charlie Kirk do not
comply with our policy. For example, you posted: β€œRefusing to tear my clothes and smear
ashes on my face in performative mourning for a white man that espoused violence is….
not the same as violence” and β€œPart of what keeps America so violent is the insistence that
people perform care, empty goodness and absolution for white men who espouse hatred
and violence.”
In addition, just last year, Opinions leadership asked everyone in the Opinions Department
to review the newsroom social media guidelines, attached those guidelines to an email to
the Department for review, and reiterated in that email the β€œbedrock principle that our use
of social media must never harm the journalistic integrity or reputation of The Post”
The poor judgment exhibited by your public comments regarding Charlie Kirk arise against
the backdrop of documented performance concerns, which have been raised with you.
Given these concerns, and in light of your recent unacceptable Bluesky posts, we cannot
tolerate the risk your performance poses to The Post.

Fucking livid. People dancing on the literal graves of trans people get to continue doing so with zero consequence, and will be afforded all the handwringing, thoughts, and prayers when they pass.

Meanwhile people DIRECTLY harmed by the abuse of the deceased will be punished for a sigh of relief

you cannot be disparaged by your own words... people cannot attack you with your own ideas

if ones words are repeated and they are viewed unfavorably that is not a reflection of the one who repeats

it is a reflection of the author
