Maybe I'm out of pocket but I'm kind of shocked at the turnaround people are giving Marathon considering it's a sham reboot of a dead franchise that got caught plagiarizing an artist for their entire aesthetic to the point where the game couldn't be shown for months.

I’m not inherently against the idea of another RE1 REmake, it’s been over 20 years and doing it in the modern style would help it feel more in line with the other REmakes they’ve done

But man that old REmake is still one of the best remakes of a game there’s ever been
