Alabama over Notre Dame was a bad choice. Notre Dame has been great. They lost two very close games (to playoff teams!) in September.

Alabama's win over Georgia is getting too much credit. Their loss to Florida State isn't getting ENOUGH credit.

Giving Alabama another shot at Oklahoma is also bad.

Miami and ND should have been tied, one spot behind Bama, and both the Tide’s and BYU’s embarrassing showings should have been the difference makers to get both in.

My argument against the playoff from its introduction is that it's the only postseason in college sports that doesn't offer a bid to every conference champion and that remains true

The committee is incredible because they did one right thing (Miami over ND) coupled with a very wrong thing (Alabama at 9) which is just perfect for their brand of incompetence.
