Someone who (likely) drives an old truck had a bad day and gave me a serious scare. Heard a thudding noise and then scraping. Pulled this hunk of metal out from under the driver side of my car.

Today, I cleared my paperwork to do list. I told hubby to take me thrifting. We only had time for one thrift store, but still managed to get a nice thrift store round up for $19. #boardgames

My district switched to a program that better prevents hacking and protects confidential paperwork from falling into the wrong hands. The program also tells me when families access IEP paperwork. It’s shockingly low number of parents, which is disheartening. #teaching

Seems simple at first, but the complexity becomes quickly apparent.

That’s the best! I was pretty proud when my nephews came up with a house rule to avoid fighting. I had a good laugh when I told my second oldest nephew there is no punching the fox…not even a little punch.

I tried this game with my nephews and niece and it is so well designed.

Yesterday, picked up husband from work and told him to bring me to more thrift stores. Got some fancy yarn, a pair of jeans, and even more board games. Spent around $23 for games. #boardgames

I know any small games created by Japanese designers tend to be hard to find outside of 🇯🇵. It was shocking to see it. Nearly missed it bc it was on the top shelf (away from sm kids’ hands) of the toy shelves.

I had a job in a group home where I taught a coworker how to play. When I came in to relieve her for night shift, she’d stay an extra hour to play a few games of Guillotine.

I have such good memories playing this game. It was super fun to find it in a thrift store, esp for $2.

That’s a good way to view it. Sometimes I have to remember to listen to what students are actually trying to say bc they aren’t always graceful in word choice, but they do mean well with their ideas.
