If we send hard working members of the community to CECOT or prison camp in FL because their papers are not in order, shouldn't we send drunk drivers too? They've actually killed people. If we support expensive private prison camps can we send the drunk drivers there too?

Some consider deportation to prison camps a reasonable punishment of the crime of coming to this country without proper documentation. Even if the aliens are working on getting the proper documentation, married, working, and have family and friends in the US.

69 aliens were convicted of homicide or manslaughter in 2023. The clearance rate (arrests) of murder cases hovers around 50%, the conviction rate somewhat lower. Let's say the conviction rate is 30%. That means ~230 aliens killed someone in the US. If they each killed 2 people, that is 460 dead.

12,429 drunk driving fatalities in 2023. Roughly 62% of alcohol related fatalities are the drivers themselves, so 38% are innocent people killed by drunk drivers. That's ~4,723 people killed by drunk drivers.

You don't need to stay for hours. Show up for at least 30 minutes if that is all you have. Be seen. Be the hard proof that you and all those standing at your side care about democracy. Stop making excuses and pretending your elected representatives can stop this without our help. They can't.

Don't worry that maybe the event won't be heavily attended, all the more reason for you to go and support the cause. Cold weather, wear a coat and boots. Bring good gloves that can hold a sign if you have one. Make a sign you can take to multiple events. Go without a sign.
