Thanks Mark, I've just read it. I suspected it wasn't just on mine. I have tried it on a couple of other CD players I have and it's the same, loud clicking, like it's skipping but it doesn't actually skip, sounds awful. Ruined an otherwise great sounding CD set.

I've also emailed BMG about it.

Very, you just don’t expect it with a brand new sealed CD box set. More than £30 with postage.

I have Tidal and love it but I’m a music collector, if I love someone then I have to buy the real thing, but yes I listen on Tidal first, if it’s on there.

No it’s not the same, on the CD version it’s very noticeable clicking towards the end, 5 minutes or so in. I googled and someone else had complained with the same issue. Very disappointing 😔

Has anyone else bought the new CD box set of Gary Numan’s ‘A Perfect Circle’? If so is CD 2 making a loud clicking near the end of ‘Are Friends Electric?’, which is the last song on CD 2. Mine is, and I’m not happy. Please let me know. I know it’s not supposed to be there.

I've had to be ruthless and leave songs out that have been big favourites for years, just can't include everything. My Number 1 has always been the same though, written in stone that one.

Better late than never, plus it's great to see different choices rather than the usual picks by an artist that's been around as long as Gary has.

I would've loved an #ArtistFave50 for Gary 😁🔥
