I saw this, and can only wholeheartedly agree.

It's really that we ('cause yeah, me too) are taking on being sysadmin for a small set of people, and documenting should be an important sysadmin responsibility. There's just no way around that.

@mrundkvist what makes political dissent in a democracy acceptable is the fact that all participants agree to play by the rules. The very idea that there are rules applying to all is anathema to Fascist thinking.

Random thought: I see lots of proposals of the sort "if you want to get out of GAFAM [1], sign up here!", and am thinking, what does that gain me, more than being an alternative centralised place to host my stuff? Why would that new org be more reliable in the long run?
